The Smashing Pumpkins have organized gig in order to raise funds for Matthew Leone who is a member of Madina Lake. He is in dire need of a lot of medical care after he faced a vicious beating.
The Madina Lake bass player was beaten to a state of unconsciousness, after he made an attempt to separate an aggressive household argument between a couple of strangers at the commencement of the month.
The musician suffered a broken jaw and a nose. He also had a fractured skull. He recently had to undergo a life-saving medical procedure so as to remove a portion of his skull in order to reduce the bump on his brain. He has been finally released from hospital.
However his twin brother and band front man Nathan fears that Matthew might require more surgery.
Smashing Pumpkins plan to hold the benefit gig this Tuesday. The ticket sales for the concert have started. Each and every proceeds from the show is for the Matthew Leone Fund.
