It has been confirmed after several months of speculation that the sequel to the smash hit Hangover would take place in Thailand.

It has been finally confirmed even after the film director denied it. The cast and crew of Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper, Justin Bartha, Ed Helms and director Todd Phillips would soon be packing their stuff for Thailand, when the movie commences shooting in a matter of a few weeks.

The original Hangover film was a huge success story from all over the world. The film also raked in hundreds of millions of dollars from all over the world. This was the film that also established Galifianakis as a solid comedy actor; while getting him some really awesome ratings.

It’s pretty evident that the Hollywood movie industry isn’t very good with its sequel records; however Todd Phillips and the associated crew for the Hangover 2 can be trusted. Here’s hoping that Hangover 2 would be as big as its predecessor.
