Academy award winning Hollywood actress Halle Berry is going to appear in a cameo role in FOX’s sitcom ‘The Simpsons’.

The Jungle Fever actress will be playing herself in the show, where she will be presenting an Oscar Award to Bart Simpson and his father Homer.

Al Jean, the producer of the show said, “This story will be a satire of the various Oscar acceptances, where two people almost run to the stage to reach there first. Here, Bart and Homer will be shown fighting to be the one that accepts”.

Apart from the 43-year old Halle Berry, Paul Rudd has also been added to the list of stars, who will be animated for the show. He will be portrayed as a therapist called Dr Zander.

‘The Simpsons’ is the longest-running sitcom on American television, which has lent the voices of Betty White, Lance Armstrong, Mark Cuban, and the Manning brothers in the past.
