Creed wishes to have a brand new song ready to play at its forthcoming U.S. 20-20 tour, even as there’s little time. The band from Florida soon embarks on a 36-date trek, commencing from the July 26. The tour starts off with a flood relief benefit concert at the Hard Rock in Nashville.
The band’s guitarist Mark Tremonti said that he has recorded a demo of the new single in his private home studio and it should be complete within a next week and a half. He also hints that they might record the song, while rehearsing in Nashville. He further adds that the song wouldn’t be out at the commencement of the tour. It would be released in the first two weeks.
Scott Stapp, vocalist and front man of the band, meanwhile, says that he’s quite confident that the band can pull off the song despite the tight time constraints. He says that if everything goes well, then the world might just witness a new Creed song this coming summer.
